Pregnancy + Birth Support

“Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers — strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.”

—Barbara Katz Rothman

You’re pregnant! Whether you’re feeling excited, a little overwhelmed, or somewhere in between, you're in good company. I've been there too — as a mom preparing to give birth, as someone who had a doula by my side, and now as a doula. I know firsthand how much it means to have someone alongside you who listens, helps you understand your options, and respects the decisions you make. That's the kind of support I want you to have, too.

My goal is that you go into birth feeling informed, supported, and confident in your ability to make decisions that feel right for you.

Birth Doula Support

During pregnancy, we'll spend time getting to know each other, talking through what's important to you, and preparing for birth together. We'll explore your options, practice comfort measures, and ensure your partner or support person feels included and prepared, too.

When labor begins, I'll be right there with you. That might mean helping you find comfortable positions, offering encouragement, suggesting ways to ride the contraction waves, or simply being a trusted, steady presence as labor progresses until birth.

During the first days of postpartum, we'll reconnect to see how you're doing, talk through your birth experience, and make sure you have the support and resources you need as you settle into life as a parent.

Your care includes

Before birth

We'll meet for prenatal visits to talk through your preferences, explore your options, practice comfort measures, and prepare your partner or support person for their role. You'll also have access to me for questions and support as your due date approaches.

During labor + birth

I'll be there offering continuous emotional and physical support, from comfort measures and position changes to encouragement and helping you navigate decisions as they come up. I'll support your partner, too, while keeping your preferences and choices at the center.

After birth

I'll stay with you as you welcome your baby and settle into those first moments together. We'll reconnect for a postpartum visit to talk through your birth, check in on how you're feeling, and offer guidance with feeding, newborn care, and recovery.
