Grief + Loss Care

I believe grief and gratitude can coexist.

Grief has a way of changing everyday life. Things that used to feel simple can suddenly feel complicated, and some days even the smallest decisions take more energy than you have.

You might feel sad, angry, relieved, grateful, completely overwhelmed, or some combination of all of it. There's room for that here.

As a grief and loss doula, I offer non-clinical support through loss—someone to talk to, practical help when you need it, and a steady presence as you figure out what life looks like now.

What is a grief doula?

Grief doula care is non-clinical and can work alongside therapists, hospice teams, and other people supporting you. It doesn't replace mental health or medical care.

Sometimes that means having someone to talk to - who listens actively and allows you to process however you need. Other times, it's practical help, finding resources, making space for memories, or figuring out what might make the next few days feel a little more manageable.

You can be feeling anticipatory grief or even complicated grief. You don't have to be in the early days of a loss to reach out. Whether this is new or it’s been a few weeks or several years, your grief is welcome here.

Your care can look like

Companionship through grief

There’s no one way to grieve. Some days you might want to talk, cry, remember, vent, or sit quietly. Other days, you might just want someone around who isn't uncomfortable with your grief. I'm here for all of it.

Practical support

Grief can make even the littlest things feel hard. I can help you organize, find resources, think through the next few things on your plate, or sit beside you while you tackle something you've been putting off.

Pregnancy + infant loss support

Whether you're experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, or the death of a baby, I offer compassionate support before, during, and after loss.

That might mean talking through what comes next, accompanying you to a medical appointment when appropriate, creating keepsakes or rituals, finding resources, or simply being with you through an incredibly difficult time.

Remembrance + ritual

If you'd like, we can find meaningful ways to remember and honor someone or something you've lost. That might include sharing stories, creating keepsakes, marking anniversaries, writing letters, or planning a personal ritual.

Anticipatory grief

If you're navigating serious illness, an uncertain diagnosis, or the possibility of losing someone you love, we can make room for what you're feeling and talk through what might help right now.

If you need additional support as someone approaches death, End-of-Life Doula Care is also available.

Presence

Sometimes having another person beside you makes a difference. Extended in-person support may be available during difficult appointments, pregnancy or infant loss, the days surrounding a death, or other particularly hard moments.
